- Charles Lane: Educator
Charles is an accomplished music educator as well. He has taught at renowned music organizations such as Midwest Young Artists, The Merit School of Music and The Birch Creek Music Performance Center along with a slew of private students. He is honored to be named to the staff of the Encore/Coda Summer Music Camp as a saxophone instructor during July, 2011.
Charles is a firm believer that an educator's role is that of a guide, advocate and learner whose position is to teach the way a student learns. As an educator, Charles believes that true learning occurs only when the student discover the music themselves, using the teacher as a resource and framer of their educational journey.
